VSI NxGen PLUS is DG’s next-generation scan tool, built to diagnose and reprogram vehicles from 1996 through 2027 and beyond. It has been tested and approved by more original equipment manufacturers than any tool on the market, and it adds diagnostics over internet protocol (DoIP), giving faster, more reliable access to today’s Ethernet-based vehicle networks. Work on the oldest OBD-II vehicle in the shop this morning and an electric vehicle platform by the afternoon, with the same tool.
The VSI NxGen is DG’s SAE J2534-1/-2 compliant pass-thru device, built for electronic control unit programming, advanced driver assistance systems calibration and vehicle security access.
